Genelec, Inc., a Natick Mass. based corporation, responsible for the sales, marketing and servicing of Genelec products in the US is seeking a Sales Manager for their Professional products division. Genelec Oy is a world leader in the design and manufacture of active loudspeakers and has proudly been manufacturing in Finland since 1978 servicing the broadcast, post production and recording markets.About the Position
The Massachusetts based Sales Manager will be charged with identifying new buyers and channels for our products and motivating existing buyers. A buyer is defined as a reseller channel or an end user such as a recording studio, broadcast facility or post-production house.Responsibilities
• Find, evaluate, hire, train and motivate resellers and independent sales representatives • Find and develop relationships via new sales channels and end users • Effectively manage toward a goal yielding expected turnover and profitability • Mentor, motivate and support the Western Regional Sales Manager and Product Specialist • Daily cold calls to targeted leads with sales results • Develop sales promotions and assist in generating sources for new leads • At least 50% travel required.Qualifications
• 10+ years of industry experience • Expertise in acoustics and audio engineering practices • Strong sales and business development experience • A proven track record as a hunter, gatherer and closer.Benefits

Under the immediate supervision of the Sales Manager, find, train and motivate new and existing resellers and independent sales representatives throughout the US • Find and develop relationships via new sales channels and end users • Daily cold calls to targeted leads with measureable results • Assist the National Sales Manger in developing sales promotions and assist in generating new leads for the company.Qualifications
• 5 to 7 years of industry experience • Expertise in acoustics and audio engineering practices • Strong sales drive and experience • A proven track record in sales.Benefits
