We are pleased to announce that a new Genelec Loudspeaker Manager Small Environment SE software release, GLM.SE V1.2.0, is now ready for distribution.

Customers who currently run GLM.SE 1.0 can download an upgrade to version 1.2.0 on the Genelec website without any cost if they are properly registered.

Version 1.2.0 runs on PC Windows XP and Vista as well as MAC Panther, Tiger, or Leopard.

The new features of GLM.SE V1.2.0. are:

Improved handling of Genelec Network Interface Device with Integrated Sound Card

GLM SE 1.2.0 automatically recognizes the integrated sound card. There is no need to edit audio mixer settings.

GLM SE AutoLink

AutoLink is a is part of 1.2.0 release. AutoLink is a software application for quick keyboard key based startup of user-definable applications. It allows the user to define ALT, Ctrl, or Option key combination with either numerical keys or F keys to start, launch and load GLM SE and GLM SE Setups.

Floating Optional dB Display

A floating dB display is now available. This feature can be selected in the GLM.SE Setup. This feature provides a convenient volume level display that can floats on top of other application windows when GLM SE has been minimized.

User Definable Disable/Enable functions for Griffin Powermate

There are three functions in the Griffin Powermate knob. They are the rotary motion for Volume Control, Mute on quick down stroke, and Bass Manager Bypass on long push–and–hold. Access to the definitions page is now on the pull-down menu under the Setup Tab on the Main GLM SE page.
