The award is given by the Mix Foundation and is a result of a voting process involving over tens of thousands of audio industry professionals. Award ceremonies were held on Friday October 3 at the Westin St. Francis in San Fransisco.
The SE™ DSP Monitoring Systemoffers Genelec’s outstanding quality of performance in an affordable and easy-to-use package and is ideal for near field monitoring, mobile vans, digital audio workstations, broadcast and TV control rooms, surround sound systems, home studios and multimedia applications.
Genelec SE™ (Small Environment) DSP System consists of the new 10-inch SE7261A active DSP subwoofer and up to eight 8130A 5-inch digital biamped monitors.
Software control is reassuringly simple with the SE7261A DSP subwoofer providing all necessary network connections to the host computer and supplying extensive DSP resources through its high-pass AES digital outputs to the 8130A.
Using GLM.SE™ software that includes Genelec AutoCal™ technology, the SE™ DSP System provides accurate acoustical integration of all loudspeakers into small listening environments. Genelec’s DSP technology with AutoCal - Automatic Calibration system - is by far the most advanced solution in studio monitor technology today.
