Jack Douglas
Jack Douglas started his career as a campaign songwriter for senator Robert Kennedy. Later he found his calling in music, and is now considered as one of the most influential record producers of our time. Jack is known for his work with the likes of The Who, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Patti Smith, Blue Öyster Cult, the New York Dolls, Cheap Trick, Starz and most notably Aerosmith. Because of the close relationship with the band, he got a nickname “the sixth member” of Aerosmith. We met the legend in New York and talked about – a lot. See what Jack says about sound, making music – and Genelecs.
