Warner Music Hungary, opened Aquarium Studios in Budapest in 1999. Hungary has a unique language and culture which helps maintain the popularity of national music in the music industry there. Warner Music aquired the most successful Hungarian independent label, Magneoton, in 1993, which made it the market leader in Hungarian music. Aquarium Studios was established to give local talent all the advantages of a top international recording studio.
