Japan has long been at the forefront of multi-channel audio so it’s only natural that the AES have chosen Tokyo as the location for this year’s International Conference on Spatial Reproduction.
With the pace of change being so fast in the world of spatial audio, the conference will be discussing how spatial audio technology can contribute to music and other artistic productions, what technologies and scientific knowledge are expected from musicians and content creators, and what are the keys for connecting science and aesthetics in this area. With an impressive program of papers, workshops and tutorials, this conference is a must for anyone at the cutting edge of spatial audio.
Genelec is particularly proud to be present in two capacities. Firstly, we will be providing an immersive monitoring system for the main conference seminar hall and secondly, we will be using the conference to launch brand-new monitoring products that are tailor-made for users demanding both high SPL and total precision. Stay tuned for more information.
