13. - 14.9.2018

The event provides an overview of the tools and techniques currently being developed in the field, whilst providing insight for audio engineers, producers and musicians looking to gain access to new technologies.

Genelec is a proud sponsor of the 4th Workshop on Intelligent Music Production (WIMP2018) - hosted by the University of Huddersfield - which brings together academia and the industry to discuss the future of music technology. It will provide an overview of the tools and techniques currently being developed in the field, whilst providing insight for audio engineers, producers and musicians looking to gain access to new technologies.

The day will consist of presentations from leading researchers from academia and the industry, posters and demonstrations, and a panel discussion session with professional sound engineers.

Genelec’s own Senior Technologist Thomas Lund will be delivering two presentations – the first will cover human perceptual bandwidth and slow listening, while the other will talk about reference monitoring for stereo and immersive spectral balance, immersiveness, listener fatigue, in-room and headphones.

There are still a small number of tickets left, so please click here to register (please note, that the online registration is now closed).
