Genelec helps The Lennon Bus inspire the next generation

New York, USA, January 2020… 2020 is set to be a very big year for the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, with events centred around what would have been the former Beatle’s 80th birthday. The Lennon Bus, which is a state-of-the-art mobile audio and HD video recording and production facility, regularly provides free digital media production workshops to schools across the US and Canada - enabling students to learn how to write, record, and produce original songs, music videos, documentaries, and live multi-camera video productions. Genelec and Mick Sawaguchi join forces for ‘Subjective Immersive’ recording project

Lahti, Finland, December 2019… Genelec have collaborated with top Japanese engineer Mick Sawaguchi to produce a series of high-quality classical immersive recordings that capture performances by an ensemble of renowned Finnish musicians in Lahti’s Sibelius Hall. The recordings, which relied heavily on Genelec monitors throughout, were debuted at the recent Inter BEE show in Japan and will form a key part of Genelec’s critical listening sessions at global shows and events in the future.
