Our collaboration with Tero Saarinen Company is rooted in a shared belief in the power of artistic expression. Together, we’ve worked to create the best possible sound environment for their rehearsal space at Kaapelitehdas – where world-class contemporary dance comes to life. The immersive Genelec monitoring system enhances not only the technical precision of the work, but also the emotional depth of each performance.Beyond technology, this partnership is about shared values and storytelling. Through co-created content and the Sound Residency programme, we’ve helped amplify the role of sound in the creative process – supporting artists who explore how movement and audio interact in new and meaningful ways. Sibelius Academy / Uniarts – Uncovering Music IDs
Exploring global music heritage through sound, stories, and cultural identity Our collaboration with the Sibelius Academy’s Global Music department is built on shared values: respect for cultural diversity, curiosity for new perspectives, and the power of sound as a bridge between people. Together, we co-created the Uncovering Music IDs podcast series – a meaningful journey into the personal and musical identities of young artists from around the world.Through intimate storytelling, live performances and sound-rich recordings, the series sheds light on the deep connection between heritage, self-expression, and creative growth. These voices often go unheard – and amplifying them feels deeply aligned with our purpose as a company and as individuals.
Genelec has been actively involved with the Sibelius Academy not only as a partner in co-creating the Uncovering Music IDs podcast series, but also through wider educational collaboration. Our partnership with the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus is rooted in a shared belief in the power of creativity, technology, and education to change lives. For over a decade, Genelec monitors have been part of this unique mobile studio, enabling young creators across the US and Europe to explore music and media production. But this is more than a technical collaboration – it's about access, inspiration, and giving youth the tools to tell their stories.
