Genelec is organising a global bundle promotion from Saturday 1st January 2022 at 00.01 am, GMT+3 until Saturday 31st December 2022 11:59pm, GMT+3 (“Promotion Period”).

OFFICIAL RULES OF THE PROMOTION
These Official Rules govern the Promotion. By entering the Promotion, the entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules. Genelec reserves the right to reject and exclude participants to the contest if the contest rules and conditions are not respected in any form. 

1. Organiser of the Promotion
The Promotion is organised by Genelec Oy, Olvitie 5, 74100 Iisalmi, Finland (“Genelec”), tel. +358 17 83 881.

2. Promotion period
The entrants can participate in the Promotion during the Promotion Period which starts on Saturday 1st January 2022 00.01 am, GMT+3 and ends on Saturday 31st December 2022 11:59pm, GMT+3. Any entries received before or after the Promotion Period will not be accepted.

3. How to participate
This promotion is global, and participation is via the purchase and registration of any of the current ‘The Ones’ family of Smart Active Monitors, which comprises the 8331A, 8341A, 8351B and 8361A models. The monitors must be brand new, and to qualify the entrant must purchase and register a minimum of 2 units. Only one Aural ID will be issued per entrant, even if the entrant purchases more than 2 units. The monitors must be registered on the Genelec website at www.genelec.com/en/register-products. Please note that as part of the registration process the entrant must produce proof of purchase. As mentioned above, the monitors must be purchased and registered before Saturday 31st December 2022 11:59pm, GMT+3.

4. Delivery of Aural ID
Genelec will monitor all product registrations (submitted via the above method) throughout the Promotion period, and entrants who have registered qualifying models from The Ones family will be contacted by Genelec via email, to verify if they’d like to receive their free 12 month subscription to Aural ID. If the entrant wishes to go ahead, Genelec will guide them through the process of submitting the required data, and will then supply their Aural ID free for 12 months. After 12 months, the entrant can either renew via a paid-for subscription, or let the subscription lapse, at which point their Aural ID will cease to function.

If by Tuesday 31st January 2023 11.59pm, GMT +3, the entrant has failed to confirm their decision to accept their Aural ID, and has failed to provide the required data to allow Genelec to produce it, the offer becomes invalid and Genelec is not liable to provide the free 12 months subscription.

4. Personal data and publicity
The collection and handling of personal data is limited to the extent necessary for the delivery of the products of the Promotion and for such purpose the information submitted may be transferred within or between Genelec and its affiliates and other third parties participating in arranging the Promotion, which may be located within or outside the European Economic Area. Personal data shall not be used for any other purposes. Personal data collected for the before mentioned purposes will be handled in accordance with Organiser´s privacy policy, located at https://www.genelec.com/privacy-policy.

5. Liability
Applicable to Australia
Nothing in these Official Rules limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investment Commission Act 2001 (Cth) or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non Excludable Guarantees.

Applicable to all territories
Genelec is not liable for any indirect damages or damages that the organiser could not reasonably have foreseen. Genelec is not liable for damages caused by third parties or reasons not attributable to the organiser (such as interruption of the Promotion or damages attributable to a failure in network connections/communications). Genelec accepts no responsibility whatsoever for damage or loss resulting from late, misdirected or incomplete entries, and by taking part in the Promotion the entrant warrants that all information submitted is true, current and complete at the time of submission. It is the entrant’s sole responsibility to ensure that the entrant’s contact information details are accurate. Genelec accepts no responsibility for any changes which are not properly notified according to the timelines stated in these Official Rules of the Promotion. The entrants shall relieve Genelec and all of the companies that participated in planning and implementing the Promotion from all responsibility relating to injury or damage arising from entering into the Promotion or from redeeming and using the prizes.

The promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn. All entrants release Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn of all liability associated with this promotion.
