Genelec and ScreenCraft Works launch film & TV masterclass series

Genelec is delighted to join forces with ScreenCraft Works to present an international series of free online masterclasses entitled ‘Cross-Border Conversations’, in which film & TV craft experts share their knowledge and perspectives on a range of production and post-production topics including editing, music composition, sound design, mixing and much more.

The series comprises carefully curated virtual talks where craft experts from one country are interviewed by a craft newcomer/mid-career talent from a different country. Each expert will share their global career insights, technical know-how, creative approaches, and cultural perspectives, followed by a Q&A and virtual networking session.

The sessions are conducted in English and are free for anyone to attend with registration. If you aren’t able to attend the live sessions, then rest assured that a recording of each masterclass will be available shortly afterwards.

ScreenCraft Works is a new not-for-profit organisation for local and cross-border career development, knowledge-sharing and industry networking. It promotes a global virtual community supporting and promoting the technical, creative, and cultural value brought to film, TV and online productions by the broadest and most inclusive range of craft talent.

At Genelec, we’re passionate about making education accessible to all, so the opportunity to support free global masterclasses focussing on the workflow and technology within the worlds of film and TV – where our monitoring solutions are an industry standard – was just too good to miss!

We hope you'll enjoy the series.
