Genelec presents immersive sound and custom colours at Finland’s Habitare show
This year, rather than focusing solely on loudspeaker models, we demonstrated the broader value of our professional-grade audio solutions for elevating the home experience through elegant, long-lasting design and custom colour options – as well as a special multichannel sound art installation from Artist Emilia Takayama.
Created in cooperation with Finnish partner Mareksound, the Genelec main stand brought Takayama’s beautiful nature-inspired immersive listening experience to life – while also showcasing the 120 recently launched colour options for The Ones series. Visitors, immersed in the soundscape, could feel the importance of high-quality audio for setting a mood or capturing a feeling, and how good design and personal expression support an attractive and fulfilling living environment.

Eagle-eyed attendees – and eager listeners – will have also spotted Genelec loudspeakers in other areas of Habitare. We participated in Habitare Choice, where sustainability and responsible manufacturing were highlighted, as well as Habitare Pro, where our professional audio solutions for studios were in the spotlight. And if you visited the Habitare Theatre, you will also have been treated to crystal-clear sound from Genelec loudspeakers.
Many of you shared your thoughts by answering our event survey, for which we are very grateful, thank you! We’re delighted to learn that you greatly value high sound quality, a pleasant overall listening experience and designs that speak to you – all of which we gladly commit to delivering. At Genelec, we truly value your opinion, so we will be considering all aspects of your feedback in our future developments.
Thank you once again to all who visited us the event, we’re looking forward to the next edition already! See you next year!
