Genelec Wraps Successful NAMM 2026
Genelec offered a first-hand immersive audio experience and hosted a series of high-profile presenters and 3D masterclasses at the NAMM Show in Anaheim, January 22-24, 2026, at its exhibition space.
On prominent display was the recently introduced 8380A three-way midfield SAM™ Main Monitor, the newest addition to Genelec’s The Main Ones family. Engineered for precise imaging, neutral reproduction, and high-SPL performance, the 8380A is ideal for medium-sized control rooms in recording, mixing, and mastering, as well as premium home audio environments.
Visitors also got to experience a state-of-the-art immersive Smart Active Monitoring™ system consisting of Genelec 8380As for Left and Right, 8361A paired with a W371A woofer system for the center, 8351Bs for Sides (LS, RS), 8351B for Rear Surrounds (LrS, RrS) and four 8341As for overheads, plus 2 x 7380A subwoofers for the LFE channel, all calibrated specifically for the room using GLM software.
Additionally, throughout the convention, the immersive demo room hosted 3D Masterclasses and special presentations by John Hanes, Alan Meyerson, Andrew Scheps, Bob Clearmountain, Richard Chycki, Sylvia Massy, Carlos Rodgarman, Will Borza, Alex Gamble, Monte Nickels & Jim Ruberto (Tippet Rise Arts Center), Ulrike Schwarz, Ophir Paz & Michael Ducassoux (United States Marine Band), and Vilius Keras & Aleksandra Kerienė (Baltic Mobile AV).
