Genelec brings coaxial clarity to High End Munich 2025

The Genelec team were excited for a return to High End Munich in 2025, since our last show was in 2019 – just before the pandemic. As in the past, we greatly appreciated High End’s wealth of contact opportunities, discussions and, of course, joint listening sessions.
Starting with trade visitor days, the event initially focussed on specialist dealers, distributors and press representatives, after which it opened up to the public. We were particularly pleased with the high level of interest from the press this year and were able to talk in detail to many representatives about our systems and offer them ample opportunities to listen.
We provided three stereo systems in our acoustically optimised room, two of which were from our The Ones Series of coaxial SAM™ Monitoring loudspeakers. They consisted of the series’ largest model, the 8361A, and the smaller 8341A. The Ones wowed listeners with their powerful and rich sound, with the 8341 system inspiring regular astonishment for packing so much power into its compact design. We also showcased The Ones in some of the 120 custom colours available for the 8331A, 8341A and 8351B models – which allow you to express yourself even further with these exceptional loudspeakers.
The third stereo system was our main attraction, featuring our five-way, acoustically coaxial 8381A, which we presented for the first time in a brand-new piano black ‘Master Edition’ finish. This special finish is a special alternative to the standard black and white versions, and is specially designed for residential environments. In terms of sound, the 8381A was repeatedly described as one of the highlights of the entire show – by the press, end customers and dealers alike. Its excellent resolution – thanks to two midrange drivers and outstanding dynamics – impressed the most.
So, thank you to all who visited us, it was a true pleasure to be of assistance! To you – and those who didn’t make it this time – be sure to come next year when High End will move from Munich to a new location in Vienna. See you there!
