Genelec Showcases 4000 Series and Smart IP at InfoComm India 2026
Held annually at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, the show ran from 16 - 18 September, welcoming system integrators, consultants and the wider AV community to explore the latest in professional audiovisual technology.
Representing Genelec across India, StageMix focused its booth on the 4000 Series and Smart IP Series of loudspeaker families, both offering flexible solutions for the installed sound market.
The 4000 Series is built to deliver premium performance and seamless integration into any project. Smart IP expands on this quality, using PoE for a reliable, easy-to-install sound solution. The loudspeakers are suitable for several applications, including hospitality, corporate and education, and with over 120 RAL colours, each of the models can adapt to custom aesthetics with ease.
“We were able to practically demonstrate the Genelec Smart IP loudspeakers to consultants and professionals working on large museum, infrastructure, and other complex AV projects in India. The demonstration helped them understand how Smart IP can address networked audio requirements in large-scale installations,” explained Sanjay Chitroda, Head of Business, Stagemix.
Visitors were also introduced to Smart IP Manager with Genelec Installed Sound Sales Support Engineer, Anthony Berry. “Showing visitors how easily a networked system can be set up and configured with Smart IP Manager really helps explain Smart IP,” he said.
Smart IP Manager offers tools to support any Smart IP system, including device discovery, room equalisation and system monitoring. “Many visitors already knew Genelec from pro audio, through studio monitors and music production,” continued Berry. “The show was a great chance to introduce them to our installed sound range, and especially what can be achieved with Smart IP.
"We had a steady stream of meetings with consultants, integrators and designers, and there was a clear appetite for immersive audio particularly in museums. It was also great to see how committed StageMix is to growing Smart IP in India. We look forward to building on that together."
