Genelec shortlisted for sustainability accolade at 2026 Inavation Awards
Held annually, the Inavation Awards – which is a collaboration between Inavate Magazine and ISE Expo – recognise and celebrate the very finest in global AV design, integration and management, and help AV investors to identify the most promising innovations on the market.
At Genelec, we’re deeply passionate about minimising unwanted environmental and social impacts – something we’ve strived to do since our founding in 1978. As such, it has brought us great joy over the years to gain recognition in this area, and this new nomination for the Inavation Award for Sustainability reminds us that we’re still on the right path.
An independent panel of industry experts have carefully chosen the eight finalists of the Sustainability Award by evaluating a wide range of operational areas, from responsible product design and manufacturing to servicing and company culture, looking for evidence of genuine long-term commitment to reducing undesirable impacts. The winner will be announced on 3rd February at the prestigious Inavation Awards Ceremony during Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Barcelona – and we wish all the nominees the very best of luck.
We’re also thrilled to share that our integration partner Ata Tech – based in The Netherlands – has been shortlisted for Inavation Awards for three of their exceptional installations utilising Genelec Smart IP PoE loudspeaker systems supplied by Audio XL.

We’ll be hoping for a great result for our colleagues at Ata Tech as the award winners are announced next month.
Combining premium audio quality with modern networked convenience and energy saving, Genelec’s Smart IP family of PoE loudspeakers and subwoofers receive audio, power and control via a single CAT cable, offering the ideal solution for integrators seeking high-performance, scalable audio solutions.
On a final note, we’d like to extend a very warm thanks to everyone at the Inavation Awards, and all our gratitude to everyone at Genelec and beyond who have made the nominations possible.
