Quality first! Genelec wins the 2018 Quality Innovation Award
On February 27, 2018, the Quality Innovation Award Annual Conference was held in Beijing. During the conference, 25 awards were granted in eight categories. Genelec won first prize in the Business Innovations Small and Medium Sized Enterprises category with The Ones - the range of coaxial studio monitors. Jussi Väisänen, Genelec’s Chief Engineer, accepted the award.
The awards were established in 2007 by the Finnish Quality Association, aiming to help innovators gain recognition amongst their peers, as well as a means to improve national competitiveness. Internationally, they enjoy a good reputation. This is also the first time CAQ (China Association for Quality) hosted the annual conference.
When accepting the award, Jussi Väisänen said, “This brings us new energy to continue the evolution of loudspeaker design”.
