Calling all music makers! Harmony Tracks is back

We’re excited to announce the return of our global music collaboration, Harmony Tracks, giving music makers everywhere a fresh chance of winning Genelec studio monitors, showcasing their sound to the world and helping our international charity partners, Music Fund!

If you’re a musician – of any skill level – and you’d love to win yourself a pair of our Smart Active (SAM) Monitors, it’s time to get creative! Once again, we’ve decided to shine a light on the beautiful diversity of musical styles found across the globe, and we’d like you join in by submitting a short piece of music you’ve made in your very own unique style – while using a key or chord sequence rooted in the note G.

By submitting your music before the end of 2024, not only will you become part of an incredible global musical patchwork, but you’ll be entered into our prize draw for Genelec studio monitors – a randomised lottery in which everyone has a fair chance of winning! Our Grand Prize is a stunning pair of RAW 8330A SAM Monitors with a GLM Calibration Kit and Peli case. Additionally, two runners-up will receive their choice of either a pair of 8010A monitors or G One loudspeakers. Just imagine how Genelec monitors could power-up your musical creativity, giving you with a reference you can trust for many years to come!

In 2023, our Harmony Tracks Grand Prize winner was Michael Gray from the UK, with his brilliantly moody musical piece ‘Thematic’. He had this to say about the experience,

“I would first like to thank Genelec for putting on such an exciting and fun competition and deeply appreciate their commitment to enhancing musical creativity. They have significantly influenced my progression in this field, and being told I had won RAW 8330As with the GLM kit marks a pivotal moment for me personally. This allows me to move forward strongly, learning more about music production, my sound and enabling me to expand my creative horizons.

Participating in Harmony Tracks and exploring a new musical style was a thoroughly enjoyable and enriching experience.”

And finally, by entering Harmony Tracks, you’ll also be helping our international charity partners Music Fund, whose valuable work ensures musical instruments and technical support are available for a series of communities in developing nations and conflict zones. For each rules-compliant Harmony Track submitted to us, we’ll donate 10€ to support their operations.

So, come and start up your creative engine by visiting our Harmony Tracks web page, where you can listen to what others have made and find out how to enter!
